It simply astounds me how well I retain the lessons. The words are just there, as if someone stuck them in my head. I’ve studied on and off for over a year and could only spit out sentences I’d heard on my Colloquial Welsh cds, and only a small handful at that. SSIW is a much better system than anything I’ve ever found. Even Pimsleur doesn’t do what this system does, which is to give you the building blocks of the language in small enough doses that you are able to really internalize them before moving on. With this system you are literally rearranging blocks to form the most useful sentences: “What are you trying to do? Are you trying to speak Welsh? I don’t know. I don’t want to know.” It seems so self-evident and so elementary, and yet it is utterly unlike any system I’ve ever used. I can’t thank you enough for providing this site.
